Life is full of commitments and, recently, colleges and universities all across the nation have agreed to make a fairly large one: The commitment to achieve climate neutrality on their campuses and to act as a model for their community. This pact, better known as the American College & University President's Climate Commitment, has 515 signatories to date.
The University of West Florida Theater Department is presenting "Guys and Dolls" as its final production for the 2007-2008 season. The musical comedy is based on the short story titled "The Idyll of Miss Sarah Brown" by Damon Runyon. "This represents the best of American musical theater," Kevin Kern, director of the production, said.

The University of West Florida men's and women's basketball team produced a record 14 All-Academic selections for winter sports. There were three First Team and two Honor Roll selections from the men's team, and the women's team produced nine selections, which was the most of any men's or women's winter sports team in the Gulf South Conference.
