Underage drinking in Martin Hall
Six students were issued student referrals for underage drinking at Martin Hall around 12:45 p.m. April 11. Patrolman Christopher Hinnant responded to a noise complaint and entered the room. According to the police log, the resident advisor had already disposed of most of the alcohol. Hinnant observed six cans of Natural beer, six cans of Budweiser and margarita mix in the refrigerator. The individuals in the room had pushed the dressers together and set up a beer pong table. Melissa Inman, Robert Fisher, T'Nachus Kelley, Alexander Gramovot, Lisa Papagoda and John Lender were instructed to pour out the remaining alcohol.
Theft on campus
Four new computers were stolen from the Learning Center located in Building 52, Room 151 April 9. The individual making the complaint said that she left before the Learning Center closed, but she did lock the door because she is the only one with a key. There were still staff members and students in the room when she left at 6:00 p.m. Cpl. Lenora Gonzalez obtained a list of staff members and students who were in the room that night. The four computers were valued at $4,000.
