Americans need an education

Freedom Whiting Contributing Writer You can hear the cable news pundits and the talking heads saying it all the time – “Americans are angry. They are frustrated.” As they should with unemployment hitting the double digits, the value of the dollar weakening, and Washington is getting about as much done as a spoiled, lazy Jersey Shore girl working in a T-shirt shop. However, my question to these frustrated Americans – where was all this anger eight years ago? Where was this anger when Americans were being lied to about a pointless war to which we had no reason to be in and lost American lives? Where was this anger from Middle America when Dubya Bush was cutting taxes that favored the wealthy? Twice. I have two theories about this “sudden” anger. The obvious theory is that conservatives and Republicans are just mad that they lost and are no longer in power. It’s easy to see as Republican politicians answer to anything Democrats come up with is the word “no.” Or that people actually believe in the “show Obama’s real birth certificate” and “death panel” rubbish. The other theory is that Americans become numb to politics during Dubya Bush’s administration mostly because of the war. Americans main focus for the government was to get the bad guys and keep America safe. Even as his administration took away our rights of privacy and told us that simulation of drowning is not torture, Americans just wanted to feel safe. For two years of his last term, Bush was all but a lame duck as he essentially did nothing. But the dynamics of America changed when we realized that for the first time since this country’s birth we had a chance to have a woman or a black man for a president. And let’s face it: Obama and Sarah Palin are a media outlet’s dream. All of a sudden, politics got really interesting. The problem was that people were political amateurs who were paying more attention to figure heads and polarizing ideals than the actual way politics works in this country. Indeed, most Americans have a hard time identifying the three branches of government and their duties. And with the lack of sensible understanding of politics and no sense of history, in comes the Tea Party movement. They are angry and claim to want their country back. And considering the lack of diversity in the group, I’m not to convinced they are not referring to pre-Civil Rights Movement America. Looking at those crowds, I’ve seen more ethnic diversity on the set of Saturday Night Live. The Tea Party movement would like to be considered a political party, but it is more of a movement of angry sore losers. Even Marco Rubio, who is a rising star in conservative circles, acknowledges that tea baggers are not a party and are lacking a sense of history. In the Washington Times he stated, “The tea party is about the anger over Washington’s excesses that began under a Republican administration and Congress. Republicans have been guilty of expanding government,” So to my fellow Americans who are “angry and frustrated,” you might want to put down the tea and do what Bill O’reilly suggested Palin should do: Go to “political college” so we can hear some real solutions and not just shouting.

I'm sure we could all use more knowledge than we have, but you should clean around your own door before you clean around someone else's. "I'm not to convinced...", should be 'too' not 'to'. Get the point?

And surely you don't mean to suggest that government corruption and scandal first appeared under the Bush administration! Government corruption and scandal have been present within our government since inception. If you doubt that, grab up a history book and start reading. It 'seems' more prevalent now with the advent of the Internet and with information dissemination at the speed of light.

On the issue of America's dynamics changing when we realized that for the first since birth we might have a woman or a black man for president. You seem to have forgotten about Geraldine Ferraro, or do you not consider her a female? Also, you seem to be racist against Indian-Americans, or don't you consider our first Indian-American vice-president in 1929 to be the same type of change in dynamics?

I don't believe anyone is doubting that Bush's reign was bad. Many American's were politically asleep. We all knew that Congress was politically corrupt but I think the majority had no clue what to do about it, so like a lot of problems, it got swept under the carpet until Obama got swept into office riding high on his charisma and oratory skills with little to no real experience, and things got even worse. Suddenly, America HAD to wake up; we looked up and realized we were in big trouble. Obama wants to blame Bush for everything, and rightly so; however, if Obama is as smart as HE thinks himself to be, then shouldn't he realize how stupid it makes him look to blame Bush? Is he forgetting that he KNEW before he was elected how bad it was? He actually wants us to believe it was an epiphany to him on his inauguration day? Is he thinking the American public is too stupid to know he was part of Congress prior to being President and participated in creating the problems? He needs to either roll up his sleeves and go to work fixing the mess, or get out of the way and let someone else do it.

Your article makes a few good points, but for the most part it is slanted, distorted, and more than a little inaccurate. I would suggest that you educate yourself before your next article telling people they need an education.

"Obama released his Hawaiian birth certificate and had it verified by an independent organization and the results were posted online for everyone to see."

Repeating this false propaganda over and over does not make it true.

No matter what you might think there is no escaping that AKA Obama is not practicing the virtue of full disclosure.

Which is most likely;
(a) AKA OBAMA is hiding documents that are innocuous?
(b) AKA OBAMA is hiding documents that are damaging?

In 1961, the Public Health Services, U. S Department of Health, Education and Welfare, National Center for Health Statistics, National Vital Statistics Division published the "Vital Statistics of the United States

Here is a blank copy of the Standard Certificate of Live Birth used by all states including Hawaii., This is the information being hidden by Obama.

Plus read the article that is included with the blank copy.

Here is what a real Hawaiian Birth Certificate looks like:

Who Certified AKA Obama as "Natural Born"?
http://thesteadydrip.blogspot.com/2009/11/this-from-obama-file-one-of-best.html

Do you really think AKA Obama would have won the election if all the things he is hiding were made known?

Do you really think AKA Obama will be able to finish his first term if all the things he is hiding are made known?

The only conspiracy is the media and the obots who suppress the revelation of AKA Obama's history.
Obama “I have nothing to hide but I’m hiding it.”
